After training under Master Groomers and graduating with top marks from B-Pro Grooming Academy, Laura opened her own salon with a focus on providing a high level of service excellence and professional results.
Always passionate about animals, she makes sure that her groomers diligently display the same care and concern for their four legged clients as they would for their own beloved pets.
Trained to professionally groom all breeds and highly skilled in hand scissoring techniques, Laura is both a Senior Groomer and the salon owner. As such, Laura works tirelessly to ensure that her and her team offer their very best on behalf of their valued clients. Laura is proud to see that her salon’s client base has significantly grown in recent years primarily from referral, which is the very best compliment!
Bethany Brunato
Bethany brings over a decade of experience working with animals to her new role at Laura Leigh Grooming. During that time, she embraced the challenge of professional pet grooming, a natural extension of her lifelong passion for animals of all sizes.
Throughout her career, Bethany has gained invaluable experience in various aspects of animal care including pet boarding, daycare, veterinary medicine, and customer service. This diverse background has equipped her with a well-rounded understanding of animal behavior and care.
Bethany takes pride in using her expertise to deliver gentle, compassionate grooming services tailored to meet the unique needs of every furry friend she works with. She looks forward to meeting you and your pet.
Melissa Lane
Melissa brings over six years of experience in the grooming industry. She is a true animal lover, whose calm and loving approach to grooming helps keep pets comfortable throughout the grooming process. Working with animals was always a dream of hers, and when she started working as a dog bather she knew that she had found her path. From Groomers Assistant, to Groomers Apprentice, to Certified Groomer through JKL Grooming Academy, her dream came true.

In the role of Salon Manager at Laura Leigh Grooming, we would like to welcome Lee to the team. With more than eight years in the animal care industry, extensive experience in customer service, human resources and business management, Lee is thrilled to be a part of the wonderful family of groomers at Laura Leigh’s.
With over five years of professional dog grooming experience, Lee is a dedicated and compassionate groomer who treats every dog in her care as if it were her own. Known for her patience, attention to detail, and genuine love for animals, Lee prioritizes each dog’s physical and mental comfort, safety, and well-being throughout the grooming process.
Lee is a strong and supportive leader, who works closely with her teams to maintain high standards of care, collaboration, and professionalism—ensuring a positive experience for pets and complete satisfaction for every client.
Jay Alexander
As a devoted pet parent herself, Jay understands how important our pets can be to us. With 2 cats of her own, Shadow and Oscar, she understands that they are family and deserve to be pampered and cared for with the utmost respect and love.
As an avid animal lover since childhood, she knows that every pet has their own personality that makes each one unique and special in their own ways.
Jay brings 3+ years of experience within the grooming and pet industry to her new role at Laura Leigh Grooming. Starting out as a bather, she found a passion beyond what she expected. As a groomer, her attention to detail, enthusiasm and compassion for pets of all shapes and sizes, has only continued to grow. Jay ensures that every groom she does, she does with patience, respect, love and care that is tailored to each pet’s specific needs.
The most rewarding part of grooming for her, is having the opportunity to earn a pet’s trust and getting to see their real personalities shine through.
